Question from Kandi: I bought my 9 year old son a new laptop for his birthday. He loves it and uses it every day.
The problem is I have already had to take it to the Geek Squad twice to fix issues he caused by changing some system settings.
I know that’s what he’s doing because I saw him using the Settings app.
Is there a way to disable the Settings app on his computer to prevent that from happening again? I really need to preserve my sanity! [Read more…]

Question from Kyle: I used the Clipboard History for a while with no problems whatsoever, but the last round of Windows Updates broke it.
Now when I press the Windows+V key nothing happens. The box with the stored Clipboard items doesn’t even pop up.

Question from Robbie: A couple of days ago I updated my PC to Windows 11 expecting to have 30 days to change my mind like we had when Windows 10 came out.
But then I found out the window for rolling Windows 11 back to Windows 10 is only 10 days, not 30.
The problem I have is I’m going out of town on business tomorrow and I won’t be back until after the end of the month.
By the time I return the 10 day roll-back period will have expired and I’ll be stuck with Windows 11 even if I end up not liking it.
Is there any way to extend the Windows 11 roll-back period to longer than 10 days (to something like a month)? [Read more…]
