Posted on February 16, 2018

A popular recurring Facebook hoax has started making the rounds again, and it has lots of Facebook users scrambling to share it with their friends.

It’s the old “Facebook No Swearing Campaign” hoax, and it’s filling up newsfeeds right and left.

Q&A: How can I turn off “Posts You Haven’t Seen” on Facebook?

Posted on February 14, 2018

Question from Kayla C.:  Every time I go to a friend’s page on Facebook it shows “Posts You Haven’t Seen” with all their new posts at the top.

I hate having to scroll down the page to find their most recent posts. I’d rather just look at the posts on their Timeline in their natural order like it used to be.

How do I turn “Posts You Haven’t Seen” off? Thanks.

Luckily, it’s quite easy to disable beeping notifications on Facebook. Just follow the steps below:  [Read more…]

Posted on February 6, 2018

As you probably know our Facebook newsfeeds are constantly being filled with posts of dire warnings to “do this” or “do that” or something bad will happen.

They usually ask you to share the post with your friends as well.

And as you also probably know, the vast majority of those “share this or suffer the consequences” type of posts are hoaxes and scams.

That being said, every now and then one of these posts will actually be based upon actual facts.

One case in point is a post that’s been making the rounds of late. The actual text may vary a bit, but it looks something like this:  [Read more…]
