Posted on August 19, 2019

You probably already know that Amazon (#ad) is the world’s largest book retailer by far, but did you also know that you can buy or rent your textbooks from them as well.

You’ll find most any textbook you need at Amazon, and you can probably snag it for a lot less than your own school will charge you for it.

All you have to do is search for the book’s Title, Author or ISBN number and you’ll be presented with a list of both new and used copies along with their prices.  [Read more…]

Scam alert: Don’t buy a ‘cookie cutter’ Amazon affiliate website

Posted on August 18, 2019

scamIf you’ve been using the Internet for a while you’re probably aware of the fantastic Amazon Associates affiliate program that allows bloggers to earn money by helping folks find great deals on items at the Amazon website.

In my opinion, there is no better affiliate program in the world because Amazon makes it easy to earn commissions on great products that most buyers end up loving in the end.

That’s why I participate in the program myself.

amazon-prime-logo2By now you probably know that Amazon Prime members get free 2-day shipping on Prime-eligible products plus a bunch of other awesome perks. It truly is one of the best deals around.

That being said, you might be reluctant to sign up for a Prime membership due to the $119 annual fee, especially if you tend to cluster your Amazon shopping around the holidays.

Well guess what? You can sign up for Amazon Prime one month at a time if you only need it for a short time!  [Read more…]

Q&A: What are ‘Add-On Items’ at Amazon?

Posted on April 16, 2019

(#ad)

Question from Brandie:  I recently started doing some shopping on Amazon (#ad),  and I absolutely love it!

Their selection is simply astounding and their prices are very reasonable.

For the most part everything is very easy to understand or figure out as I go, but I’m still learning the ropes about some things.

For example, every now and then I’ll come across a product that’s listed as an “Add-On Item”.

I’m not really sure what that means. Can you tell me?
