Today’s featured tech tip….
Always keep your portable jump starter fully charged and ready to use
If you’ve been following my blogs for a while you know I frequently recommend keeping a portable jump starter in your vehicle just in case its battery ever needs a boost.
One of my friends and newsletter subscribers (which in my mind are one and the same) emailed me today and reminded me of the importance of always keeping your jump starter fully charged and ready for use when you need it.
He had recently returned to his car only to discover that he had left the lights on, which of course drained all the juice out of the battery. Unfortunately, so his jump starter was out of juice as well.
Luckily, it’s very easy to do keep any portable jump starter fully charged and ready to go…
Simply periodically plug it into its handy AC adapter/charger in accordance with the schedule recommended in the user manual. If you no longer have the manual to yours you can simply charge it up once every 90 days or so. It’s really that simple.
Keeping your portable jump starter charged up and ready to go will give you the peace of mind that comes with knowing that a dead battery won’t be leaving you stranded and at the mercy of strangers.
