Today’s Quick Tip….
Did you recently switch from a wired keyboard or mouse to a wireless model?
If so, you’re probably wondering why you didn’t make the switch a lot sooner. They really are that amazing.
Well I have a little tip for you…
If your wireless keyboard or mouse ever starts working erratically, it’s probably a sign that you need to change the batteries.
Many such devices will simply stop working at all when their battery charge gets low, but some will keep right on working but doing weird things like skipping letters or jumping around on the screen.
I learned a long time ago that new batteries will cure most any ill that afflicts a wireless keyboard or mouse.
If the weirdness ever starts happening to you, don’t waste time trying to figure out if a setting has changed or if your machine has become infected with a virus.
Instead, just assume you need to replace the batteries. 99 times out of 100 you’ll be correct.
