Do you find yourself frequently using the Volume Mixer on your Windows 11 PC?
If so, you can save a little time by pinning it right to your Taskbar so you can access it with a single click.
I know it isn’t that difficult to access the Volume Mixer in the traditional ways, but one-click access is really nice when you need to open it on a regular basis.
Sound good? Here’s how to add the Volume Mixer to the Taskbar on a Windows 11 machine:
1 – Click the Start button and type sndvol.
2 – Right-click on SndVol and select Open file location.
Note: The “Programs” folder should now be open on the screen.
3 – Scroll down the list of files until you find the SndVol file, then right-click on it and click Pin to taskbar (you might need to click Show more options first.
If you prefer following visual instructions, the short video below shows how to do this, step-by-step.
Note: You can watch this video at full screen by clicking the little “square” icon in the lower-right corner of the video after it begins playing.
That’s all there is to it. You should now have a brand new icon for the Volume Mixer right on your Taskbar. Just click that icon when you want to open the Volume Mixer and it’ll pop right up.
