If you’re like me you love installing free software and trying it out.
And why not? After all, it’s free!
That means if you don’t like a program you’ve downloaded you can simply uninstall it and you won’t be out as much a cent!
But there’s a problem with installing many free programs and apps: They tend to install a bunch of junkware along with them if you aren’t careful.
Facebook accounts are preferred targets of hackers and scammers these days, and it’s easy to see why.
With roughly 3 billion users worldwide, the Facebook community at large offers hackers an enormous opportunity for scamming their way to ill-gotten gains and/or the twisted satisfaction that some receive from wreaking havoc on a massive scale.

Question from Kim: I have a 2 year old Windows laptop that appears to be infected with viruses because it acts weird all the time and it runs really slow.
Also, my Norton software keeps finding two viruses that it can’t remove and I don’t know what to do next.
I’ve heard that resetting Windows will remove all the viruses from the system. Is that true or do you think I should just break down and buy a new laptop?

I am new to MacBooks so I am on a learning curve even though I have both an iPhone and an iPad.
I wanted to buy an external hard drive for my processor but have no idea what type I should get. I would like it mainly to back up my iTunes library and photos. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
