Today’s quick tech tip….
How to force a frozen app to close on your Mac
Although it doesn’t happen as often on Macs as it does on Windows machines, there are times when an app will become unresponsive and simply stop responding to mouse actions and keystrokes.
And of course when that happens the app will refuse to close as well.
Luckily, there’s an easy way to force an unresponsive (i.e. frozen) app to close on your Mac. Well actually, there are two quick ways to do it:
1 – Press the Option+Command+Esc key combination.
2 – Click the Apple icon on the top menu bar and select Force Quit from the menu, then select the app that’s frozen from the list and click Force Quit.
