Hello again everyone. I hope you all had a great week!
With Thanksgiving now less than a week away, many folks are getting ready to turn their attention to Christmas.
As always, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the weekend in between will be huge shopping days.
The weekend after Thanksgiving always means monster crowds at virtually every brick-and-mortar retail store.
Even worse, there are almost always reports of people getting trampled and fights breaking out. And that’s after having to drive around for an hour looking for a parking spot!
Luckily, there’s an easy way to avoid the Black Friday crowds and the aggravation that goes along with them. Simply do the bulk of your Christmas shopping online instead!
Most major retailers also sell merchandise online, often with larger selections and lower prices than what you’d find while shopping in their brick-and-mortar stores.
I do virtually all of my Christmas shopping at Amazon because I love their mind-blowing selection of merchandise, their extremely competitive prices and their hassle-free, two-click return process.
If you enjoy shopping at Amazon as well, here are a few tips for making your Christmas shopping experience as fast, easy and safe as possible:
1 – Sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime and get free 2-day shipping on all of your Amazon Prime-eligible purchases (plus a ton of other great free perks).
2 – Sign up for an Amazon Store Card and get interest-free financing for all purchases over $149! Click here for details.
3 – Amazon actually has tons of awesome Black Friday deals going on right now so you won’t need to wait till the weekend. Click here if you’d like to do your “Black Friday” shopping right now!
4 – When buying tech gear as Christmas gifts, don’t forget the extras. After all, there’s nothing worse when you’re a child than receiving a Christmas gift that you can’t use because you don’t have batteries for it.
Bonus tip – If guests will be staying at your house during the holidays they might ask to borrow your computer. This post explains how to safely and securely share your computer with your guests.
Well, that’s it for this week. If you have a tech question that you would like for me to answer, click here and send it in!
