Today’s quick tech tip….
Q&A: Can I disable ‘Caps Lock’ on my iPad?
Question from Daniela: I keep accidentally turning on ‘Caps Lock’ on my iPad. Is there some way to disable it completely? It’s driving me up the wall.
Rick’s answer: Yes there is, Daniela. Just follow the steps below to disable the Caps Lock feature via your iPad’s Settings app:
1 – Tap the Settings icon (it looks like a “gear“).
2 – Tap General.
3 – Tap Keyboard.
4 – Toggle the “Enable Caps Lock” setting to Off.
That’s all there is to it, Daniela. Now you won’t have to worry about accidentally activating Caps Lock again.
Bonus tip: This same procedure works on an iPhone too.
