Today’s featured tech tip….
This will put your backups on steroids
Do you have a laptop or desktop computer that’s equipped with at least one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port?
If so, you can really reduce the time it takes to back up your computer’s hard drive or SSD by using an external USB 3.2 Gen 2 SSD as your backup storage device.
There are a number of such drives available these days, including this one that I use to store my own backups.
Whichever super-fast SSD you decide to go with, simply plug it into your computer’s USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and start the backup procedure.
You’ll probably be shocked at just how quickly the backup gets created, especially if the drive you’re backing up also happens to be an SSD.
