Today’s featured tech tip….
How to force Chrome to always show the full URL in the address bar
If you use Google’s Chrome browser on your computer you might have noticed that parts of the URL in the address bar are typically hidden by default.
Personally, I prefer seeing the entire URL so I’ll always know exactly which page on the site I’m visiting at any given moment.
If you’d prefer seeing the entire URL as well you can force Chrome to always display it with just a couple of quick mouse clicks…
All you have to do is right-click inside Chrome’s address bar and select Always show full URLs from the drop-down menu.
That’s all there is to it. From now on Chrome will always display the entire URL of the current web page in the address bar.
If you ever change your mind about this change you can always just repeat the steps above to reverse it.
