Today’s featured tech tip….
Here’s a better way to snap photos with your phone
Do you take a lot of photos with your smartphone?
If so you’ve probably noticed how difficult it can be to tap the Shutter Release button to take a photo when the phone is held in an awkward position.
Well, there’s a very simple solution to this problem that works well in virtually all of those awkward situations…
When you’re ready to snap your photo simply press one of your phone’s Volume buttons (either Volume Up or Volume Down) to snap the picture.
That’s right, the volume buttons on your phone work as auxiliary Shutter Release buttons any time the Camera app is open.
And since your fingers are probably already holding the phone in the vicinity of the Volume buttons it’s a lot easier to just press one of them instead of trying to maneuver a finger onto the Shutter Release button.
Hint: This tip works exceptionally well when taking selfies.
Give it a try and see how it works out for you.
