Today’s featured tech tip….
Here’s a simple tip for getting help with your smartphone
Do you occasionally (or even often) ask friends or family members to help you resolve an issue you’re having with your smartphone?
Getting help is usually quick and easy if you’re actually with the person you’re requesting help from. After all, you can simply hand them your phone and describe the problem.
But what if the person you need help from isn’t with you? Well, here’s a little tip that can help…
You can share your phone’s screen with them and they’ll be able to see what’s happening on your phone by viewing the contents of your phone’s screen on their own phone’s screen.
There are a number of screen sharing apps in both the Google Play and Apple app stores. Just open the applicable app store on your device and type the words screen sharing into the search box. You can then pick an app based upon the user reviews.
And finally, here’s a little bonus tip…
If both you and the person you need assistance from use Facebook’s popular Messenger app you can probably use Messenger to share your screen with that person. You won’t even need to download another app.
