Today’s quick tech tip….
Q&A: How can I quickly change text in all caps to lower case?
Question from Douglas: Rick, if I accidentally type a long Facebook post in all caps, is there an easy way to change it to lower case without rewriting the whole thing? Thanks in advance.
Rick’s answer: You can easily and quickly make that conversion using a fantastic online tool, Doug. Here’s how:
1 – Select the all caps text and copy it to the Clipboard.
2 – Paste the copied text into the converter on this page:
3 – Click the Sentence case button at the bottom left.
The text in the box should now be all lower case except for the first word in each sentence.
4 – Copy the converted text to the Clipboard and paste it back into the original Facebook post.
That’s all there is to it, Doug.
By the way, this tool can quickly make several different kinds of case conversions in addition to the one you just made. Simply paste in your text and then click the applicable button.
