Today’s featured tech tip….
How to clean up your browser’s cluttered Bookmarks bar
Is your Bookmarks bar getting crowded with dozens of bookmarks that you really need to keep, but only use on rare occasions?
You can clear up a lot of that clutter by moving groups of related bookmarks into folders. When you need to access one of those bookmarks you just open the relevant folder and click on the bookmark in question.
Here’s how to create a bookmark folder in most modern browsers:
1 – Right-click on a blank area of the Bookmarks bar and click Add folder.
2 – Follow the prompts as they appear.
Now just give each new folder a descriptive name so you’ll have an idea of what kind of bookmarks are in them. Then drag all the rarely used bookmarks that fall into that category into the appropriate folder.
And by the way, you can add as many new folders to your Bookmarks bar as you need.
