Today’s featured tech tip….
How to pin an SMS text conversation to the top of the list
Have you ever had to scroll through the list of SMS text conversations on your phone in order to find an important conversation that you needed to review again?
If so, it probably took a while to find the conversation you were looking for, especially if it had been a few days, weeks or months since you received it.
Well, there’s a very simple way to make sure you’ll be able to quickly find an important conversation at a later time, regardless of how long it’s been since you received it.
The next time you receive a message that you know you’ll need to return to later, simply return to the conversation list, then tap and hold your finger on the conversation containing the important message.
After the menu pops up just tap on the Pin icon (it looks like a PushPin) and that conversation will immediately jump back up to the top of the list. And it’ll stay there indefinitely as long as you keep it pinned.
In case you’re wondering, you can pin multiple conversations to the top of the list. You’re not limited to just one.
To unpin a pinned conversation simply tap and hold the conversation again and then tap the Unpin icon.
Note: This top works for both Android phones and iPhones. Give it a try.
