How to replace audio notifications with visual alerts on Windows 11
Do you find it difficult to hear the audio notifications you receive on your Windows 11 PC?
Or perhaps your computer is located in places where complete quiet is expected?
If so, you can make a simple settings tweak in Windows 11 that will replace audio notifications with visual alerts.
This short YouTube video shows how to set it up, step-by-step:
If you prefer written instructions, here you go:
1 – Right-click the Start button and select Settings from the menu.
2 – In the left-hand pane, click Accessibility.
3 – In the right-hand pane, scroll down to the “Hearing” section and click Audio.
4 – Click the drop-down box on the “Flash my screen during audio notifications” line and select the type of visual alert you want to receive.
