Today’s Quick Tip….
How Ann Handley grew her newsletter 2,000% in 3 years
My intent for this newsletter is to help you solve your tech problems. To that end, I’m always on the lookout for tips that can help me grow it so I can help as many people as possible.
I subscribe to (and actually read) dozens of other successful newsletters to try to get a glimpse into the ‘secret sauce’ that makes them successful while so many others are failing.
After all, I’m a firm believer in learning from the successes and failures of others whenever possible.
One of my favorite newsletters is Total Annarchy (note the spelling), a bi-monthly newsletter about writing and various other topics.
Many of the newsletters I receive in my Inbox are set aside for reading at a more opportune time, but this little gem from Ann Handley is one of the few that I take the time to read as soon as it comes in.
Regardless of the topic of the day I always seem to come away with some little nugget that will help me do a better job at everything I do. And truth be told, there’s usually a smile or two involved as well.
Long story short, Ann has written a short, but absolutely fantastic ebook that explains in detail how she grew Total Annarchy from 2,000 subscribers to over 43,000 in just a little over three years.
If you publish a newsletter of your own (or have plans to start one), I strongly recommend that you click here and download this fantastic free ebook right now. The insights you gain are sure you help you create and grow a more successful newsletter.
And while you’re at it, do yourself a favor and subscribe to Total Annarchy. If you’re anything like me you’ll probably devour every issue as soon as it hits your Inbox.
