Today’s featured tech tip….
Here’s a simple way to get remote help for your smartphone
Do you occasionally (or even often) ask friends or family members to help you resolve an issue you’re having with your smartphone?
Getting help is usually quick and easy if you’re actually with the person you’re requesting help from. After all, you can simply hand them your phone and describe the problem.
But what if the person you need help from isn’t with you? Well, here’s a little tip that can help…
You can share your phone’s screen with them and they’ll be able to see what’s happening on your phone by viewing the contents of your phone’s screen on their own phone’s screen.
If both you and the person you need assistance from use Facebook’s popular Messenger app you can use Messenger to share your screen with that person.

Rick’s Daily Pick…
FakeTV Advanced Burglar Deterrent Device
Statistics show that most burglars skip houses that appear to be occupied, preferring to move on to find one where no one is at home.
This little gem makes it appear from the outside that someone is always at home watching the TV.
Today’s post from ‘My Daily Smile’…
Video: Winter Wonderland – Lofoten Islands, Norway
Simply gorgeous.

• Camera companies fight AI-generated images with ‘Verify’ watermark tech
• The US may impose regulations on some Chinese DRAM makers
• Driverless cars now immune from traffic tickets in California
• Future Samsung camera sensors could capture the invisible
• iOS 17.2.1 is reportedly causing connectivity issues for some users
