Yahoo Mail is the second most used email service on the web, and it’s also one of the oldest.
But if you use Yahoo Mail you’re probably painfully aware of all the troubles the service and its users have endured in recent times.
Those issues have prompted a lot of users to switch from Yahoo to a different email service.
I’ve received several emails of late asking me how to forward Yahoo Mail to another email account, so I thought it might be a good idea to just write a how-to post explaining the procedure.
Follow these steps to forward all of your Yahoo emails to Gmail, Outlook.com or any other email account:
1 – Log into your Yahoo Mail account.
2 – Click the “gear” shaped settings icon in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
3 – Click Settings.
4 – Click Accounts.
5 – Click on your Yahoo email address (the address that you wish to forward to another email address).
6 – Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings window, select the radio button beside the word Forward, then enter the email address you wish to have your Yahoo emails forwarded to.
7 – Click the Save button.
That’s all there is to it. From now on all of the emails that are sent to your Yahoo email address will be forwarded to the email address you specified in step 6 above.
