Well, the group of Russian hackers who have hacked into so many major websites and user accounts recently have struck again. This time the victim is Google and their users.
Around 5 million Google usernames and passwords have actually been posted online, and it’s likely that many times that amount were actually stolen.
Bottom line: If you use Gmail, Google Adwords, YouTube or any other Google service, you should change the password for your Google account right away.
After changing your password, I strongly recommend that you also set up Two-Factor Authentication on your Google account.
Important: Please consider sharing this to alert your friends, family and acquaintances who might be Google account holders.
