In a world where most of the news we hear tends to be bad news, it’s really nice when I can deliver a bit of great news on occasion.
Well, today is one of those days…
Amazon (#ad) has eliminated their $25 minimum purchase threshold for free shipping for all orders placed between November 1 and December 22 of this year!
That means you won’t have to bundle your purchases in order to qualify for free shipping during this year’s Christmas shopping season.
For instance, if you want to order an item for $7.99 (or any other amount less that $25) without having to wait until you need additional items as well, you can. Just go ahead and place your order and Amazon will ship that item to you without charging you a shipping fee!
This deal is especially attractive if you’ve been wanting to order an inexpensive, but heavy item that would cost more in shipping charges than the item costs in the first place.
This is without a doubt one of the best deals you’re likely to find while you’re doing this year’s Christmas shopping.
Several other large online retailers have similar temporary free or reduced shipping deals in place, but all things being equal I prefer dealing with Amazon for the reasons listed in this post.
Bottom line: Now is the perfect time to start placing your orders with Amazon (#ad) for those inexpensive items that don’t usually qualify for free shipping on their own!
