Question from Tammy C.: About 4 or 5 days ago I tried to update my Flash Player from the Adobe website. It started downloading, but it never finished.
I finally gave up and figured I’d try again the next day. I’ve tried installing it every day since then but it always hangs in the middle of the download.
Can you tell me what I need to do to get the Flash Player updated on my computer? It’s running Windows 7 Home Edition.
Rick’s answer: Tammy, Adobe’s software is notorious for problems like this, and Flash Player is probably the most irritating application of the bunch. But the steps listed below will most likely do the trick:
1 – Click Start>Control Panel>Uninstall a program and uninstall the existing Adobe Flash Player from your system.
2 – Visit this page and install Flash Player from scratch.
That should take care of your Flash Player “update” Tammy. If not, let me know and I’ll tell you what to try next.
Update from Tammy: You make these things seem so easy Rick! Thanks a lot because your solution worked!!!
