Today’s quick tech tip….
How to quickly take a full-page screenshot with Firefox
As you probably know, there are times when it’s useful to take a screenshot of an entire web page, even if part (or even most) of the page isn’t visible on the screen.
There are browser extensions available for all the popular browsers that are made just for that purpose, and I’ve featured a couple of them on my blog in the past.
But guess what? If you use Firefox you won’t need to install an extension just to capture “scrolling screenshots” because Firefox has a handy screenshot tool built right in. Here’s how to use it:
1 – Launch Firefox and open the page you want to take a screenshot of.
2 – Right-click on a blank area of the page, then select Take Screenshot from the menu.
3 – Click the Save full page button in the top-right corner of the window.
4 – Click the Download button in the top-right corner of the window.
5 – Press the Ctrl+J key combination and you should see the screenshot image waiting for you in the Downloads folder.
That’s all there is to it. Now you know how to take a full-page screenshot with Firefox without the help of a third-party browser extension.
