Today’s Quick Tip….
How to remove ‘Microsoft Teams’ from your Windows 11 PC
Did you know Windows 11 has a native video conferencing app that’s similar to Zoom?
It’s called Microsoft Teams, and it’s one of those apps that people seem to either love or hate.
I’ve tried it, and to be honest, I’m not a fan. I disliked it so much in fact that I completely removed it from my PC.
If you haven’t tried Microsoft Teams yet you might want to give it a try if you’re into video conferencing. Who knows, you just might fall into the “I love it!” camp.
If you ultimately decide it isn’t for you it can easily be uninstalled to free up a few precious resources on your machine. Here’s how:
1 – Right-click the Start button, then click Settings.
2 – In the left-hand pane, click Apps.
3 – In the right-hand pane, click Apps & features.
4 – Scroll down to the Microsoft Teams entry and click the three dots at the far right.
5 – Click Uninstall, then click Uninstall again to confirm that you really want to remove Microsoft Teams from your system.
If you ever change your mind and decide you want to reinstall Microsoft Teams you can easily do that as well. Just follow the steps below:
1 – Click this link to visit the Microsoft Teams download page:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app
2 – Click the Download for desktop button.
3 – Click the Download for Windows 11 button.
4 – Run the downloaded installation tool and Windows 11 will install the app on your PC.
