Today’s Quick Tip….
Enable screenshots in Incognito mode in Chrome for Android
I’m not a big fan of using Chrome in Incognito Mode because it really doesn’t do all that much to protect your privacy.
But that being said, plenty of folks “go incognito” all the time, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that as long as they understand Incognito’s limitations.
If you frequently use Incognito Mode in the Chrome Android app you’ve probably noticed that you can’t take a screenshot while you’re incognito.
For whatever reason, Google has disabled Incognito screenshots by default in the app. But truth be told, you can easily enable them if you so desire. Just follow the steps below:
1 – Open the Chrome browser app on your Android device.
2 – Type the following into the address bar: chrome://flags
3 – Type the word incognito into the “Search flags” field.
4 – Scroll down to the “Incognito Screenshot” section and change that setting to enabled.
5 – Tap the Relaunch button to restart Chrome with screenshots in Incognito Mode enabled.
