Today’s Quick Tip….
How (and when) to put your Android phone into Power Saving mode
Does the battery in your Android phone tend to run out of juice before you have an opportunity to plug it into a charger?
If so, you can keep your phone up and running longer by enabling a ‘Power Saving’ mode in the device’s Settings app.
As with many things Android, the various Power Saving modes (and what each manufacturer calls them) can vary quite a bit from phone to phone.
Rest assured that your Android phone has at least one Power Saving mode, and possibly several.
To find out what’s available on your phone just open the Settings app and then tap Battery.
Note: This tip applies to Android tablets as well.
