Today’s quick tech tip….
How to securely use any insecure public WiFi network
When you travel do you worry that using an insecure, public WiFi network might put your personal and financial info at risk?
If so, you’re a very wise person indeed, because it does.
But guess what? There’s a very simple way to use those insecure networks without having to worry about anything dire happening.
Simply get yourself a handy little travel router and create your own personal secure WiFi network piggybacking off one of those networks wherever you go. And then top that off by using a good VPN.
You’ll find plenty of good travel routers to choose from on Amazon, and your local electronics retailer might have them as well.
If you need a recommendation, no problem. Just reply to this email and ask.
