Today’s featured tech tip….
How to pin an SMS text conversation to the top of the message list
Have you ever had to scroll through the list of SMS text conversations on your phone in order to find an important conversation that you needed to review again?
If so, it probably took a while to find the conversation you were looking for, especially if it had been a few days, weeks or months since you received it.
Well, there’s a very simple way to make sure you’ll be able to quickly find an important conversation at a later time, regardless of how long it’s been since you received it.
The next time you receive a message that you know you’ll need to return to later, simply return to the conversation list, then tap and hold your finger on the conversation containing the important message.
After the menu pops up just tap on the Pin icon (it looks like a PushPin) and that conversation will immediately jump up to the top of the list. And it’ll stay there indefinitely as long as you keep it pinned.
By the way, you can pin multiple conversations to the top of the list. You’re not limited to just one.
To unpin a pinned conversation simply tap and hold the conversation again and then tap the Unpin icon.

Rick’s Daily Pick…
Addtam Cruise Essentials Flat Plug Power Strip
Does your home have an electrical outlet that’s difficult to use because the cords plugged into it force your furniture to sit too far away from the wall?
Or perhaps you can’t use the outlet at all because you simply can’t get it because a piece of furniture is always sitting in the way?
Well, this little gem will let you extend that same outlet to a location that’s more easily accessible. What’s more, the flat plug connecting the power strip to the hidden outlet will let you place furniture really close to the wall.
Today’s post from ‘My Daily Smile’…
Time-lapse video: The incredible beauty of the American Southwest

• WhatsApp now lets you hide your locked chats behind a secret code
• Meta sues the FTC to block tough new restrictions on kids’ data
• Windows 11 is getting an enhanced ‘energy saver’ mode
• Consumer Reports: EVs are way more unreliable than gas-powered cars
