Question from Helen S.: Hi Rick. Based upon your recommendation, I’ve been using CCleaner to keep my Windows laptop cleaned out and optimized for some time now. I really appreciate you telling us about things like this!
My daughter just bought a brand new MacBook Pro (#ad) and I was wondering if CCleaner will work on it too? If it will I’m planning to buy her a copy and help her install it while she’s in for the holidays.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
Rick’s answer: Yes, Helen. There is indeed a version of CCleaner that is made specifically to run on Macs, and it works quite well.
CCleaner for Mac will help keep your daughter’s MacBook Pro running smoothly by clearing out all the digital junk and clutter that tends to build up over time.
Just as with CCleaner for PC, there are two versions of CCleaner for Mac for you to choose from: a free “Standard” version and a paid “Professional” version.
I use the free version, and I recommend that you download that one for your daughter as well by visiting this page and clicking the green Free Download button.
I hope this helps Helen. Good luck!
