Question from Karren: My cable modem and wireless router are sitting on a table in my living room, which is located on the first floor near the end of my house.

I have a fairly large home and the Wi-Fi signal is extremely weak in a couple of the second floor bedrooms.

My grandchildren stay with me several nights every month, and I’d like for them to be able to use the Wi-Fi while they’re in their bedrooms.

If I bought a second wireless router would I be able to use it to extend the existing router’s Wi-Fi signal to cover the entire second floor?

Q&A: Can I still buy a computer with Windows 7 on it?

windows-7 Question from Ferrell G.: Rick, the best computer I have ever owned has finally died on me and I need to replace it.

The thing is I’ve heard horrible things about both Windows 8 and Windows 10, but none of the stores I’ve been to have any Windows 7 machines left.

Do you know if it’s still possible to even buy a PC with Windows 7 on it? If so, where?

Question from Sammy L.: I have a question for you Rick. Can I install both windows 7 and Windows 10 on the same computer at the same time?

My computer has Windows 7 on it and I have the little icon to upgrade it to Windows 10.

What I’d like to do is clone Windows 7 onto a second hard drive then upgrade the original Windows 7 to Windows 10. Then I could choose which version of Windows I want to boot to with the boot menu.

Do you think this will work or will it cause problems? I’d love to give Windows 10 a try but I’m not sure if I’ll like it so I want to keep Windows 7 too.

Q&A: Is it ok to take advantage of mistakes sellers make on ebay?

Question from Angie S.: I love buying stuff on ebay, especially when I can get something I want really cheap.

I recently found a pair of designer boots that had no bids because the seller had misspelled the name of the designer. I ended up getting them for $6 plus shipping.

The problem is I felt guilty afterwards because the boots cost over $300 in the stores, and they were new.

My questions is do you think it’s ok to take advantage of mistakes like that? My husband says it’s fine but I do feel a little uneasy about it.
