Today’s featured tech tip….
How to delete all of your Gmail messages at once
I’ve had several people ask me how they can delete all the messages stored in their Gmail accounts in one fell swoop.
As luck would have it, this is actually a pretty easy task to accomplish. Just follow the steps below:
Warning: The following procedure will wipe out every message that’s currently stored in your Gmail account. Before proceeding either archive your messages or take other steps to preserve any messages you wish to keep because after you complete this procedure they’ll be gone forever.
1 – Open a web browser on a laptop or desktop PC (this cannot be done on a mobile device) and sign in to your Gmail account.
2 – In the left-hand column, click All Mail.
3 – Click the top-most box on the left-hand side of the message list.
4 – Click Select all XXX messages in All Mail.
5 – Click either Delete (or the Trash Can icon) that’s located on the top menu bar, then click OK to confirm that you really want to bulk delete all of your messages at one time.
That’s all there is to it. You have just deleted every message that was stored in your Gmail account.
