Today’s featured tech tip….
How to find your phone’s ‘Downloads’ folder
Just like most computer systems, your smartphone has a ‘Downloads’ folder where it stores the files you download from the Interne.
The thing is, this Downloads folder isn’t that easy to find on many phones.
Luckily, it’s quite easy to quickly locate the Downloads folder on both iPhones and Android phones if you know how to do it. And I’m going to tell you right now…
Note: The steps below work on iPads and Android tablets as well.
If you have an iPhone…
1 – Swipe down from the middle of the ‘Home’ screen with one finger.
2 – Type the word Files into the Search box.
3 – Tap the Files icon.
4 – Tap On my iPhone.
5 – Tap Downloads.
You should now see a list of the files you have downloaded from the web to your phone.
If you have an Android phone…
1 – Swipe up from the bottom of the ‘Home’ screen and tap the Files icon.
2 – Find the “Categories” section and tap Downloads.
You should now see a list of the files you have downloaded from the web to your phone.
