Today’s featured tech tip….
Q&A: Do Chromebooks have keyboard shortcuts?
Question from Betty: I’ve been using Macs for years, but after my third one died on me I decided it was time to try something new. That something is my first Chromebook.
My question is, do Chromebooks use keyboard shortcuts? I tried using some of the shortcuts I used with my Macs but none of them seem to work.
Rick’s answer: Chromebooks do indeed have keyboard shortcuts, Betty. And just as with the Mac, there are a bunch of them.
Many Chromebook keyboard shortcuts work the same way they work on Windows PCs, but most of them vary (just slightly) from the way they work on Macs.
Due to time and space constraints I won’t be able to list all the Chromebook shortcuts here, but this Google Help page explains how to view each and every one of them.
