Today’s featured tech tip….
How to search Google for multiple words at once
Have you ever done a Google search only to have a very small number of pages returned in the search results?
That happens fairly often, and there’s a very easy way to increase the number of results your search will produce: Use the OR operator.
That’s right, you can search for multiple words at once by placing the word OR between them.
For example, let’s say you want to do a search for soft drinks but to receive results for Coke, Pepsi or Fanta. This is what you would type into the Google search box:
coke OR pepsi OR fanta
Notes: The OR operator can be used with any two or more search terms. The word OR does not need to be capitalized. I just capitalized it above for emphasis.
