Today’s quick tech tip….
Try Pausing OneDrive syncing to speed up a sluggish PC
Does your Windows PC slow to a crawl when you’re running certain programs, you have multiple browser tabs open or you’re having it perform some other resource-hogging task?
If so, temporarily pausing OneDrive syncing just might free up enough system resources to put a little zip back in its performance.
If it helps, you can always resume syncing when your resource intensive task is complete.
This Microsoft Support page has instructions for pausing (and resuming) OneDrive syncing for both Windows 11 and Windows 10.
Give it a try the next time your PC seems to be imitating a sleeping snail. It might not always help, but it certainly won’t hurt to give it a shot.
