Today’s quick tech tip….
How (and when) to make Windows play all audio in one channel
Do you use a headset with your Windows PC that only has one headphone?
If so, you might have noticed that some sounds don’t come through when they would normally be heard through the opposite channel.
It’s easy to force Windows 10 or Windows 11 to play the audio intended for both channels in your single headphone. Just follow the steps below for your Windows version:
Windows 11:
1 – Right-click the Start button and click Settings.
2 – In the left-hand pane, click Accessibility.
3 – In the right-hand pane, click Audio.
4 – Toggle the “Mono audio” setting to On.
Windows 10:
1 – Right-click the Start button and click Settings.
2 – Click Ease of Access.
3 – Click Audio.
4 – Toggle the “Turn on mono audio” setting to On.
