Today’s quick tech tip….
How to delete an unwanted Facebook group
Are you the owner of a Facebook group that you’d like to delete?
If so, you’ve probably searched the group’s Settings menus from top to bottom looking for a “Delete Group” switch, only to come up empty.
Well, there’s a reason why you were unable to track down a simple way to delete your group. There isn’t one.
What you have to do is first remove all the members from your Private group and then leave the group yourself.
Once the number of group members reaches zero Facebook will delete the empty group (an empty group cannot exist on Facebook).
If your group is Public you’ll have to ban all the users instead of simply removing them, and then leave the group yourself.
That’s all there is to it. Now you know how to delete an wanted Facebook group.
