A while back I wrote a post explaining why it’s a good idea to take along a power strip when you travel.
But what I forgot to mention is that it’s also a good idea to have a wireless travel router
These days many of us use several wireless devices at once, so being limited to a single wired connection just doesn’t cut it. This problem is easily solved however by simply plugging a wireless travel router into your hotel room’s Ethernet jack, then connecting your laptop, smart phone and tablet via your very own private Wi-Fi network.
There are a number of travel wireless routers out there to choose from, but right now Amazon has a tremendous deal on a great little router from TP-LINK. In fact, you can get it for a little more than what you’d pay for a good pizza!
At just over 2 inches square and a mere 4 ounces, you can easily slip this little jewel into your suitcase and travel with the peace of mind that comes from knowing you’re prepared for those times when there is no usable Wi-Fi signal available.
