Today’s quick tech tip….
How to change the default zoom level in Safari on your Mac
The “Quick Tip” in yesterday’s edition of this newsletter explained how to permanently change the default zoom level for every website you visit with the Chrome browser?
Today, I’m going to show you how to do the same thing with Safari on your Mac. Just follow the steps below:
1 – On your Mac’s top menu bar, click Safari, then select Preferences from the drop-down menu.
2 – In the new window that just opened, select Websites from the top menu.
3 – In the left-hand pane, click Page Zoom.
4 – In the right-hand pane, select a new default zoom level in the “When visiting other websites:” field.
5 – (Optional, but recommended) – Experiment with different default zoom settings until you find the one that works best for you.
That’s all there is to it. From now on every website you visit will be automatically displayed at the new default zoom level you just selected.
