Today’s quick tech tip….
How to secretly follow a post on Facebook
Do you ever see posts on Facebook that intrigue you enough to want to see who reacts to them and what they say about them in the comments, but you’d rather not react to the posts or comment on them yourself?
In other words, you’d like “lurk” and secretly “follow” the post to see how other users respond to it?
Well, there’s an easy way to tell Facebook to notify you every time someone reacts to and/or comments on a post without anyone else knowing you’re receiving those notifications.
The next time you see a post you’d like to stealthily follow, just do this:
1 – Click (or tap) the three dots over on the right.
2 – Click (or tap) Turn on notifications for this post.
That’s all there is to it. From now on you’ll receive notifications for that post just as if you had “liked” it or commented on it.
If you ever want to stop receiving notifications for that post simply repeat the steps above and select Turn off notifications for this post in step #2.

Rick’s Daily Pick…
StarTech Standalone Dual Bay Hard Drive/SSD Duplicator and USB 3.1 Docking Station (#ad)
This is hands-down the easiest way to clone the contents of one hard drive or SSD onto another drive.
You don’t even need to connect it to a computer to perform the cloning process. All you have to do is push a button.
It’s also the easiest way to connect two bare hard drives or SSDs to a computer as external USB drives.
Today’s post from ‘My Daily Smile’…
Which option would you choose?
Most people would (understandably) make the wrong choice when choosing between these two options.
Tech news that caught my eye…
• Report: Equifax gave millions of US loan seekers inaccurate credit scores
• Textbook publisher: NFTs will let us squeeze even more money out of students
• Sling TV continues to drop subscribers, loses 55K subscribers in second quarter
• Apple might delay iPadOS 16 release until October
• The next generation of encryption may not be quite as secure as we’d hoped
