Today’s quick tech tip….
Did you know Gmail has a super-handy ‘right-click’ menu?
If you use Gmail you surely know you can click on the Subject line of a message to open it, but did you know you can right-click on it too?
Well, you can, and the menu that’ll pop up is incredibly useful because it several of Gmail’s most-used options in one place. Here are a few examples:
- Want to quickly delete a message without opening it? Simply right-click on it and click Delete.
- Want to quickly find all the emails you’ve received from that recipient? Just right-click and select Find emails from [sender name].
- Want to quickly move the message to a different folder/label? Right-click on it and select Move to, then select the folder/label you want to move it to.
There are several other handy options on Gmail’s right-click menu as well. I recommend that you take a few moments to check them out the next time you have your Gmail open.
Just right-click on any message’s Subject line and the menu will pop right up.
