Today’s quick tech tip….
Reminder: It’s still completely safe to use Windows 10
I’ve recently had several people ask me if it’s still safe to use Windows 10 now that Windows 11 has been out for a good while.
As luck would have it, the answer is yes…
According to the official Windows 10 Lifecycle chart, Microsoft has committed to supporting Windows 10 with security updates until October 14, 2025.
That means you’ll be able to safely keep using Windows 10 for well over two more years.
And truth be told, it could be even longer since Microsoft has a history of extending their support for some previous Windows versions past their stated termination dates.
Bottom line: You have plenty of time to decide when you’re ready to ditch Windows 10 and move on to Windows 11 (or whatever the current Windows version is at the time).

Have a need for speed?
This external USB solid state drive boasts maximum read speeds that are roughly double what you’d get from an external USB 3.0 SSD.
What’s more, it also comes with a generous 2TB of SSD storage space.
Note: To get the maximum read speeds this drive would need to be connected to a device via a USB 3.2 port.
