Today’s Quick Tech Tip….
How to always launch Firefox with the previously-used tabs open
There are times when I’d like to resume a previous browsing session the next time I open my web browser.
I use Firefox strictly for that purpose because Mozilla has made it so easy to force Firefox to remember which web pages you have open when you close it, then reopen those same pages the next time you launch the browser.
If this sounds like something you could benefit from as well, you can set it up with just a few quick clicks. Here’s how:
1 – Open your Firefox browser.
2 – Click the Open Application Menu icon in the top-right corner of the window (it looks like three horizontal lines).
3 – Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
4 – Select the General tab in the left-hand pane, then check the box beside the “Open previous windows and tabs” line in the “Startup” section.
That’s all there is to it. From now on Firefox will always start up with all the web pages you were working with during your last session already open in their own tabs.
