Today’s Quick Tip….
How to send a text message using your voice
Are there times when you’d like to send someone an SMS text message but your hands are too busy to type it out?
Well, you can easily send texts using nothing but your voice with the help of the handy ‘Google Assistant’ app. Here’s how:
1 – Make sure the Google Assistant app is installed on your phone. If not, go to your device’s app store and install it.
2 – Say “Ok, Google” to launch the app and prompt it to start listening for further instructions.
3 – Say “Send a message.”
4 – When prompted to do so, say the name of the contact you want to send the text to.
5 – When prompted to do so, speak the message you’d like to send. When you are finished speaking your message, Google Assistant will confirm the message and give you an opportunity to make changes if needed.
6 – After you’ve confirmed that the message is correct, say “Send“.
