Today’s Quick Tip….
Q&A: How do I get the Weather back on my PC’s Taskbar?
Question from LeeAnn: The Taskbar on my Windows 10 laptop used to have a little weather display on it, but now it’s gone. Can you tell me how to get it back?
Rick’s answer: I’ll be glad to help you get the weather display back on your PC’s Taskbar, LeeAnn.
Just right-click on a blank area of the Taskbar, then select News and interests>Show icon and text.
Note: The “Show icon and text” entry should now have a check mark beside it.
That’s all there is to it. You should now see the current weather conditions displayed in the Notifications area of your laptop’s Taskbar.
You can click on the Temperature display at any time to open the “News and interests” panel and check out the full weather forecast.
If you ever decide to ditch the weather display again simply repeat the steps above and select Turn off.
