Today’s Quick Tip….
The easiest way to migrate to a new Mac
Are you planning to buy a new Mac to replace the computer you have right now?
If so, you won’t need to manually transfer all of your files to the new Mac because a handy Apple utility called “Migration Assistant” can handle the grunt work of the move for you.
What’s more, if the machine you’ll be migrating from is another Mac you won’t even have to install your apps on the new Mac because Migration Assistant will transfer those too.
If your current computer is a Windows PC you’ll have to manually install the apps you want to use onto your new Mac and make any desired settings changes, but the Migration Assistant will still save you a ton of time by transferring all of your user-created files over for you.
Sound good? If so, you’ll find instructions for using the awesome Migration Assistant tool right here.
