Today’s Quick Tip….
How to unhide a post you’ve hidden on Facebook
If you’re a Facebook user you probably know you can hide posts you don’t want your friends to see from your Timeline.
But did you know you can do the reverse and unhide a hidden post if you change your mind?
Well, you can. Just follow the steps below for the device you use to access Facebook.
If you use Facebook in a web browser on a laptop or desktop computer:
1 – Log into Facebook and click the down arrow at the far-right end of the top Facebook menu bar.
2 – Click Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
3 – In the left-hand pane, click Your Facebook Information.
4 – In the right-hand pane, click Activity Log.
5 – In the left-hand pane, click Logged Actions and Other Activity to expand that section, then click Hidden From Profile.
Note: If you have hidden a lot of posts it could take some time to display them. Please be patient.
6 – Click the three dots next to the post you want to unhide, then select Add to profile from the menu.
If you use the Facebook app on a mobile device:
1 – Open the Facebook app and log in to your account.
2 – Tap the Menu icon (it looks like a ‘gear‘ or ‘cog‘).
3 – Tap Settings & Privacy, then tap Settings.
4 – Scroll down to the “Your Information” section and tap Activity Log.
5 – Scroll down and tap Logged Actions and Other Activity.
6 – Tap Hidden from profile.
Note: If you have hidden a lot of posts it could take some time to display them. Please be patient.
7 – Tap the three dots next to the post you want to unhide, then select Add to profile from the menu.
