Today’s Quick Tip….
How to move your Mac’s ‘Dock’ to the side of the screen
If you have a Mac you’re surely familiar with the Dock, that super-handy row of icons at the bottom of the screen.
But did you know you can actually move the Dock from its current location at the bottom to either the left or right edge of the screen?
And depending on how you use your Mac, you could well end up liking one of those locations better.
There are two ways to move the Dock to a new location…
The first method is accessed via your Mac’s Apple menu. Just follow the steps below:
1 – Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of the screen, then click System Preferences.
2 -Select the Dock panel and then choose either Left or Right for the “Position on screen” setting.
The second method is even faster:
1 – While holding down the Shift key, click on the Dock’s Handle Bar (i.e. the thin line between the app icons and the folder icon) and then drag the Dock to either the left or right edge of the screen.
2 – Release the mouse button to lock the Dock onto it’s new position.
That’s all there is to it. The Dock will remain in its new position until you decide you want to move it again.
To move the Dock back to its original position at the bottom of the screen, simply repeats the steps you completed above and move it there in step 2.

Could your PC use a keyboard and mouse upgrade?
Chances are, the answer to that question is yes. These are the two devices you actually use the most, after all.
In my humble opinion, this wireless combo kit from Logitech would be a great choice for any Windows laptop or desktop PC.
